Abby was awarded her 3rd major win under judge Judy Harrington at the Waukesha KC dog show and she was Best of Winners. Abby's point progression is up to 11 points total. She and Karla have been strong competitors. Congratulations! We are very proud of your success.

Stonewall's Anything Goes Abadabadoo Wins a Major!

Abby was awarded a 3-point major under judge Kenneth Clemons at the Kettle Moraine KC dog show today. After a judging change and a 5 hour delay in the show time, Abby kept her composure and brought home the big win. This is Abby's second major.

Stonewall's Boon Excalibur is Best of Breed

Cal was awarded Winner's Dog, Best of Winners and Best of Breed at the Packerland Kennel Club Dog Show. He earned two points under judge Mary Ann Alston. He won this from the 6-9 month puppy dog class beating a special for Best of Breed.

Stonewall's Away Again Scout Wins a 5 Point Major!

Scout won a 5 point major under judge Christina Hubbell at Fond du Lac KC Dog Show. She was WB and Best Opposite Sex. It's her first major and we're very proud of her accomplishment against very tough competition. Congratulations Scout!

1st Visit to the Vet

The B Litter puppies and Timber went to the vet today. The puppies had their dewclaws removed and a quick check-up. Everyone is healthy.

Early Neurological Stimulation Begins

We started our 'puppy exercises' today. We practice Early Neurological Stimulation based on a seminar that I attended by Dr. Carmen Battaglia. The intent is to stimulate the puppies during specific periods of neurological growth to make them better adapted dogs physically and mentally. To read more about this program click here.

Puppies Have Arrived

Timber had a healthy litter of 8 puppies on August 27th. The breakdown of the litter is 2 black females, 2 black males, 1 liver female and 3 liver males. Mom & puppies are doing fine. We will continue to post new pictures on our 'B' Litter page.

Timber's Radiograph Results

Timber went for her last pre-whelping appointment today. The radiograph showed 8 puppies. Everyone looks healthy, so now we will just need to wait. Her due date is quickly approaching.

Timber's ultra-sound confirmed that her puppies are on the way. The official word from the vet was 'at least 7 puppies'. We will be taking good care of Timber to get the litter delivered safely.

Stonewall's All Hail to Cesar has completed his Agility Foundations class hosted by 4mydogz. He graduated with honors. This is Julie & Cesar's first try at agility. They have great potential as a team!

Stonewall Anything Goes Abadabadoo, "Abby", has graduated from Family Dog Class from Dog's Best Friend Training. This is Abby's third training class completed, all before the age of 8 months! Congratulations!

Stonewall's All Hail to Cesar placed 1st in the 6-9- month Puppy Dog class at the Wisconsin Kennel Club Dog Show. Stonewall's Away Again Scout placed 1st in the 6-9 month Puppy Bitches class at the Wisconsin Kennel Club Dog Show.

Stonewall's All About Tessa placed as the BOB Flat-Coated Retriever Puppy in the Waukesha KC BOB Fun Match. A first dog show for Tracy & Tessa. They made a great team and will be a fun pair to watch in the future.

We were fortunate to get together Abby, Blue, Cesar, Tessa, and Scout for a play date. It was great to see how all the puppies were growing and changing. Their new owners have been hard at work training and it shows. It was a wonderful opportunity for us to get together and trade tips and stories.

Carrie, Timber and Scout attend the Flat-Coated Retriever Club of Illinois Fall Hunt Training Seminar at Bong Recreation. An informational seminar and field training event. Scout did well for her first event and enjoyed the attention. Timber was happy to be back in the field after spending the summer with puppies.

Puppies will be starting to leave for their new homes this week. We will be sad to see them go but are excited to share these wonderful new puppies with their new families.
